Mr. Alhaj Sayed Karim Hashimi, General President of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, met with Dr. Fazlullah Niazi, President of the Pharmaceutical Importers Association, and several members of the association at the Chamber's headquarters, where he listened to their challenges and proposals. Dr. Niazi outlined the challenges faced by the community and offered proposals for identifying alternative routes for importing medicines into the country; he also discussed the prospect of joint investments to establish manufacturing plants for various pharmaceuticals and requested the Chamber President's comprehensive cooperation in this regard. Mr. Hashemi emphasized the vital role played by pharmaceutical importers in the country's economic growth and public health, assuring them of the Chamber's full support in resolving their issues and facilitating joint investment opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector.
