Today, June 30, 2015, at 2:00 pm, a meeting was held at the office of the Union of Supply Services of Medicines, Medical Equipment and Health Products of Afghanistan with the participation of the President of the Union of Kazakhstan, officials of manufacturing and export companies of that country and a number of respected businessmen of Afghanistan. At the beginning, Mr. Nasar Ahmad Safari, Acting President of the Union, while welcoming the guests, stressed the importance of expanding trade relations and joint cooperation between businessmen of the two countries.
Then, the Kazakh delegation provided necessary information about the activities of companies, production capacities, products and trade relations and introduced samples of spices produced in that country. Afghan traders also raised their views and questions on the state of the pharmaceutical market, product registration processes and other related issues.
In conclusion, the sides emphasized the development of trade cooperation, information exchange and strengthening economic relations between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan and agreed to pursue technical and other cooperation issues through further communications. The Kazakh delegation also expressed its readiness to facilitate Afghan businessmen's visits to Kazakhstan's manufacturing companies and provide necessary facilities, including visas.
The meeting was held in a friendly and cordial atmosphere and is hoped to lead to the expansion of cooperation and ensure the common interests of businessmen of the two countries.
