Union officials meet with representatives of Afghanistan-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce to develop trade cooperation
Today at 11:30 am, at the office of the Afghanistan Pharmaceutical, Medical Equipment and Health Products Supply Services Union, a meeting was held with the presence of Mr. Nisar Ahmad Safari, Acting President of the Union, Mr. Asadullah Imaq, President of the Cultural Committee of the Union and Mr. Haji Noorakram, one of the traders of the Iranian products sector. Iran-Afghanistan and Mr. Parviz Heidari, CEO of the Afghanistan-Iran Joint Chamber.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed expanding trade cooperation between the two countries, strengthening bilateral coordination, holding joint conferences and meetings, meeting and exchanging trade delegations, visiting Iranian businessmen to Afghanistan, as well as visiting Afghan businessmen to companies and production centers of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The sides also stressed on addressing existing challenges, effectively using trade opportunities and developing economic cooperation, and considered the meeting as the beginning of establishing sustainable, constructive and good relations between economic institutions and businessmen of the two countries.
Strong economic relations will contribute to the growth of trade and prosperity of the two nations.
